The Nevada Lions Club held its regular Board of Directors Meeting December 3, 2007 at the home of Charlene Jarboe. The meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm by 1st Vice President Jerry Radke who acted as Chairman. The following members were in attendance.

Motion to approve the amended agenda by Bob Hunter, seconded by Susan Radke. Motion approved.
Motion to approve the minutes of November 5, 2007 as amended to include "that Bob Hunter suggested Spin Art as a possible fundraiser at future events", by Steve Jordening, seconded by Charlene Jarboe. Motion approved.
The financial report was presented by Treasurer Bob Hunter. Motion to approve the Treasurer's Report by Jim Fenn, seconded by Loren Heckathorne. Motion approved. Bob Hunter reported that the club received $2257.08 from Per Mar for working at football games this year.
Paul Malsom and Janice Schmidt reported on preparations for the Pancake Supper at the High School on December 7.
A pamphlet concerning Life Line Screening was passed around.
A letter was received requesting sponsors for youth for the International Youth Exchange.
District Governor Susan Radke reported on the MC9 District Convention.
Motion to bill members for both meetings in November and December and use the money to fund $200 for Christmas baskets and $30 for a gift for Marilyn Argotsinger by Jim Fenn, seconded by Susan Radke. Motion approved.
Motion to cash the CD and put in Savings or Money Market account until we receive the year end financial report by Steve Jordening, seconded by Susan Radke. Motion approved.
Don Williams suggested as possible fundraisers at Lincoln Highway Days: Sumo Wrestling and having a chain saw woodcarvers demonstration and then selling their woodcarvings.
The next Board Meeting will be January 7, 2008 with Janice Schmidt as hostess.
