Larry Howard was inducted as a member of our Lions Club. Jerry Radke performed the induction ceremony and Steve Jordening is Larry's sponsor.

Also, during the regular meeting, Jim Fenn reported on Gates Hall rent reduction. The service clubs were given a 20 percent reduction. John Beals reported on Kidsight retakes, and stated that we retook 8 children. He also gave a preliminary report on the Pancake fundraiser. We made $796, with $1525 in revenue and $729 in expenses, serving 197 meals.

The Nevada Lions Club held its regular Board of Directors meeting, February 25, 2015, in the Windsor Manor dining room. President pro-tem Jayson Kingsbury called the meeting to order at 7:50 pm and acted as Chairman, with the following members present:

Secretary Loren Heckathorne read Minutes from the January 14 Board Meeting, with additions from January 28 and February 11. Motion was made by Charlie Lloyd, Second by Willy Morfitt to approve the Minutes as corrected. Motion passed.

Treasurer John Beals didn't bring the Financial Reports but still reported that the paper recycling check did come and that we have $4945 in our bank account.

Bills of Account: $352 for Gates Hall Pancake day rent, $207.70 for Fareway, $23.90 for Burke sausage, $29.90 to Charlene Jarboe. John did not yet receive a bill for Journal advertising. There was a McFarland eyeglasses bill for $200, but Willy didn't know anything about it. He will investigate. Motion was made to pay the bills by Jerry Radke, Second by Charlie Lloyd. Motion passed.

Leader Dog sent us a thank-you. There was a letter from Parks and Rec, about sponsoring a baseball team and there was a letter from Lions Youth Exchange asking for $75. There was no interest in the Parks and Rec request and we declined to give Youth Exchange $75, but we do plan to do our bologna and sweet corn feed again this year, which may be on Monday July 13. The 2015 location was listed as Camp Hantesa. Also, there was a request for PTA Carnival funding, which we declined.

There were additional bills for Valentines: $50 rent to Kockler's and $211.86 to Farmhouse Catering for 22 meals. Jerry Radke motioned to pay the bills, Second by Charlie Lloyd. Motion passed.

Jayson Kingsbury adjourned the Board meeting at 8:12.
