The Nevada Lions Club held its regular Board of Directors meetintg in the
Community Room of the Nevada Public Libarary on 3 January 2006 with Loren
Heckathorne as host. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by
President John Wheelock who acted as Chairman. The following members were
in attendance:

Motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting by Jerry Radke and seconded by Steve Jordening. Motion approved.
Treasurer’s Report showed a check book balance of $4774.31.
Bill presented by Jean Bodensteiner for $18 for door prizers for Sight Night. Motion to pay by Steve Jordening, seconded by Willie Morffit. Motion carried.
The Soup Supper will be served from 4:00 to 7:00. Willie Morffit will make posters and ask LaNair Niblock to distribute them.
Motion to have Paul Malsom purchase large checks for presentations with laminated foam backing. Motion by Jean Bodensteiner, seconded by Jim Fenn. Motion approved.
It was brought to the Board’s attention that Charlie Lloyd’s father had passed away. The Secretary will send a sympathy card.
The next meeting will be 6 February with Jim Fenn as host.
