President Hunter received a letter from Lori Dodd about purchasing advertising in the Guide to Nevada. This advertisement will cost $275. This item was postponed until the July Board meeting.

President Hunter received an e-mail from Sarah Engbretson concerning the Iowa Cubs baseball game of July 20. We need more information on this, so President Hunter will e-mail Sarah requesting how to get tickets.

There was a note from Youth and Shelter Services requesting a contribution, but we declined.

Bob Hunter received a call from Lynn at the Chamber of Commerce as part of the Chamber's new promotion. She asked two questions: What do you love about Nevada and what do you want known about Nevada.

Willy Morfitt didn#c#it have anything new to report on eyeglasses.

John Beals will be gone for several weeks and Bob Hunter will pick up the recycling paper at the Nevada Journal during his absence.

Bob Hunter reported that the Paper Recycling truck is about 2/3 full.

Jim also talked about the need to use a bigger L.P. tank when using the grills.

Bob handed the gavel to Charlene and adjourned the meeting at 8:00 pm.

After adjournment, the 4th of July parade was mentioned. We need to buy more candy, and all willing and available Lions should consider riding on the float.
