The Nevada Lions Club held its regular Board of Directors Meeting March 3, 2008 at the home of Jim Fenn. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Vice President Jerry Radke. President Charlie Lloyd arrived and acted as Chairman for the meeting. The following members were present:

Motion to approve the minutes of February 4, 2008 made by Jerry Radke, seconded by Jim Fenn. Motion approved.
The Treasurer's Report was given by Bob Hunter. Check balance February 29 was $2,632.07. Motion to approve the report was made by Janice Schmidt, seconded by Jerry Radke. Motion approved.
A bill was presented by Bob Hunter for $5.25 for paper for financial reports. Motion to approve the bill was made by Jerry Radke, seconded by Bob Hobson. Motion approved.
Janice Schmidt reported on Pancake Day preparation March 30th.
A request to sponsor a Little League Baseball team was received from Nevada Parks and Recreation. A motion to donate $175 to sponsor a team was made by Jerry Radke, seconded by Jean Bodensteiner. Motion approved.
A motion to make the following donations was made by Jean Bodensteiner, seconded by Paul Malsom: LCIF, $50; Leader Dog, 100; Diabetes Awareness, 50; ILF, 350; Puppy Dog Program, 100. Motion approved.
A motion to grant the request of Wes Ebert to be placed on Preferred Status as his wife will be going on dialysis was made by Jean Bodensteiner, seconded by Bob Hobson. Motion approved.
Jean Bodensteiner reported the 60th Anniversary Dinner will be held May 3, 2008 at St. Patricks Catholic Church. Midwest Pack will cater the meal for $9.00 without paper plates and plastic silverware. The cost to attendees will be $12.50.
The next meeting will be April 7 at the home of Paul Malsom.
