September 2015 Board of Directors Meeting

Windsor Manor, Wednesday Evening, Sept 9 -- Loren Heckathorne

The Nevada Lions Club held its regular Board of Directors meeting, Sep 9, 2015, in the Windsor Manor dining room. President Charlene Jarboe called the meeting to order at 7:27 pm and acted as Chairman, with the following members present:

John Beals Jim Fenn Loren Heckathorne Bob Hunter
Charlene Jarboe Charlie Lloyd Paul Malsom Willy Morfitt
Jerry Radke Susan Radke

Secretary Loren Heckathorne read Minutes from the August 12 Board Meeting. The minutes were corrected for the serving hours at our upcoming Pancake fundraiser. Motion was made by John Beals, Second by Jim Fenn to approve the Minutes. Motion passed.

Treasurer John Beals presented the monthly Financial Report. Jim Fenn moved to accept the financial reports, Second by Charlie Lloyd. Motion passed.

John Beals presented bills of account. The $275 for the Nevada Journal was pre-approved. There was $39.59 to Key Coop for bottle gas to Jim Fenn and two paper sacks bills of $28.22 each to Bob Hunter. Susan Radke made a motion to pay the bills, Second by Jerry Radke. Motion passed.

Willy Morfitt reported that there are two eyeglasses requests in the works.

It was noted that new Lions members get a free cap; otherwise, we Lions need to pay for a new cap. We also talked about getting new shirts and Paul Malsom suggested that his wife Deb Malsom could look into where and how to get new Lions shirts.

There was much discussion about the Pancake Day Fundraiser this coming weekend. Someone needs to come at 6:45 and start the coffee, the rest of us should come at 7:00 am. We start serving at 8:00 am. Display materials and signs are stored at Steve's law office and need to be picked up. Also, there are supplies at Steve's law office.

There was a motion to adjourn by Charlie Lloyd, Second by Susan Radke and we adjourned at 7:51.
