Why are you a Lion?

Mission Statement of Lions Clubs International:

"To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation."

As Nevada Lions we believe in this mission statement. I have designated 4 Guest Nights this year. On October 14th, January 13th, April 14th, and July 14th, I am asking each Lion to bring a prospective club member on each of these nights. Tell people what we stand for, give them a chance to help us fulfill our mission statement.

Let's join clubs worldwide in sharing our Nevada children's visions of peace with our community by sponsoring a 1998-1999 Lions International Peace Poster Contest! Applications are due by October 1st.
