Lion President Paul reminded the board to be thinking of projects for the $10,000 gift from Margaret Maliet's estate. Lion Charles mentioned that buildings at the Fairgrounds need some updating. The Historical Society also needs money and help to move the log cabin from the fairgrounds to Evergreen Lane. Additional possibilities are desired.

Lion Susan reported that the establishment of a Leo Club at Nevada High School is a good possibility. We need to invite District Leo Chair, Tom Wilson, to a future meeting. Lion Jerry said we should get the Leo kit to help guide us. Lion Charles moved to start a local Leo Club by doing the necessary ground work and getting Lion Tom Wilson to guide our efforts. The motion was seconded by Lion Susan and passed.

Our December board meeting will be at the Paul Malsom home on 1 December 2003 at 7 pm. Lion Charles moved to adjourn, seconded by Lion Duane, and we adjourned at 8:03 pm.
